The Upper Lola Tilly Commons is available to the public during scheduled meal service for general use. Individuals may use the room for a study area as well as a gather place for meetings and events.
Before using the Upper Lola Tilly for your group meeting, we ask that you review the following guidelines. For all groups and individuals that choose to use the Upper Lola Tilly we ask that you are courteous and respectful to others, including those who will use the room in future by cleaning any mess and removing any trash that you may bring into the room.

Reservations
The Upper Lola Tilly and the patio are common areas and may not be reserved for exclusive use. This means that any other groups or individuals may use these areas and no other group or individual may exclude or prevent another group or individual from using the room or patio, even if it is at the same time as there meeting/event.
All groups and individuals should be respectful of others using the space.
After-Hours Use
Groups wishing to use the Upper Lola Tilly after the Lola Tilly closes must have a CSO (Community Service Office) present at all times when the Lola Tilly closes. If your group does not have a CSO present you will be asked to leave. The CSO must be present until the last person leaves the building and the organization hosting the event is responsible for paying for the CSO's services.
Please send us an email to lolatilly@uafdining.com to let us know that you are using the room and to confirm that arrangements have been made for a CSO to supervise the event.
Obtaining a CSO's Services
Contact the UAF Police Department to arrange for a CSO to supervise your event. You may request a CSO at www.uaf.edu/police/security-request-form/ or for more assistance, contact the UAF Police Department at 907-474-7721.
Accessibility
There is no elevator or wheelchair left to the Upper Lola TIlly Commons, so the room is not handicapped accessible.
Cleaning/Event Breakdown
It is the responsibility of you and/or your guests to clean after using the room and breakdown your event. There are trash receptacles located in the room. The furniture is there for your comfort and we ask that if you need to move it that it be replaced in a manner that would be acceptable to others. (i.e. if you move all of the furniture into a corner or cluster it in one area please move it back so that it fills the room).
Food and Beverages
Food and Beverages may not be taken out of the Dining Room unless in a Carryout Container. In such case, our carryout policies apply. As always, we ask that you dispose of any trash before leaving the upstairs. |
